The Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture awards dinner event took place at Cipriani 42nd street in New York City. Matt Murphy Design created the look of the communications for the event, including the invitations, programs, and the print and digital ads announcing the event.

The evening honored Anonymous was a woman, Susan Unterberg / Governors’ Award for Service to Artists, Francesco Clemente / Skowhegan Medal for Painting, Paula & Peter Lunder / Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney Award for Outstanding Patronage of the Arts and Lorraine O’Grady / Skowhegan Medal for Conceptual and Cross-Disciplinary Practices. The event was followed by an after-party at which the musician Masego performed. During the night a record-breaking over $1 million was raised to support the future of artmaking at Skowhegan.
