In this exploratory assignment, MMD was asked to re-imagine a ‘clean slate’ Vera Wang Accessories Program. Starting with a reductive modern text logo we evolved the ‘VW’ letter forms into a faceted graphic device that was jewel-like with an urban edge to it. These graphic pieces informed all aspects of the program, from faceted bag bodies, crystal bracelets, bag clasps, shoe buckles, and locket details.
